Promise for the month of July 2026

             ”Let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord”. 1Chronicles 16:10

            Dearly beloved children of God! God’ s desire on us to seek Him. We should seek God. In the bible we see and read many kings and prophets received blessings by seeking God. They shall praise the Lord that seek Him: your heart shall live forever (Psalm 22:26). They that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing (Psalm 34:10).

           Those who seek God will rejoice and praise Him. We can read in Psalms that Blessed are they that seek Him with the whole heart (Psalm 119: 2) Those that seek me early shall find me (Pro 8:17) They that seek the Lord understand all things (Pro 28:5)

           In the book of Ezra, we can see how he humbled himself to seek God for his people, when he had fasted and prayed for his people to God with the supplication God heard his prayer. we can also see the hand of God is so good to those who seek Him. When we seek God, our God will hear and answer our prayers.

         In the bible we can see how the king Jehoshaphat and his people had sought God, they had fasted and prayed together with one mind when a multitude of people from the tribe of Moab and Ammon were raised against him. He feared and announced the prayer and fasting throughout Judah. At the time the people of whole town of Judah gathered to seek God with the council of the prophet, the king Jehoshaphat made the choir to stand in the frontier of the battle and asked them to praise God by saying that the Lord is good and His mercies endure forever. When they started to praise God, the enemies were killed among themselves and died. The people of Judah and Jehoshaphat grab the treasures of the enemies for three days and the fourth day they were all gathered in the place of Berachah and praised God. The man who sought God at the time of his fear about his enemies because of the council of God he was able to praise God on the fourth day in the place of Berachah.

       Beloved people, when you seek God this month, our God will transfer all your adverse situation to good and make you rejoice and praise God. Amen
